Cancellation Policy

Once registrations have been completed, customer may cancel or reschedule training dates with a 10 business day notice of needed changes. Registrations that cancel or reschedule with less than a 10 business day notice will be invoiced in full. Substitution of class attendee is permitted (without penalty), up to the first day of scheduled training.

Inclement Weather Policy

Tandem Solution recognizes the fact that inclement weather and other emergencies can affect the company’s ability to open for business and the student’s ability to get to the on-site training center. The safety of our students and employees is paramount in any emergency. No policy can cover every potential emergency situation, so this policy covers the most common.

Fortunately, emergencies and inclement weather days are infrequent, but these are the guidelines for when they occur.

When an emergency such as these examples occurs, the training center may be closed:

  • Extreme Snowfall and ice
  • Power outage
  • Flooding affects transportation, or The governor declares a weather emergency and asks people to stay off the roads.

If Tandem Solution decides to close the training center due to an emergency, each student will be notified as soon as possible. Depending on the situation, a Tandem Solution employee will work with each student to either reschedule or refund the course on a case-by-case basis.

Virtual Training Weather Policy

Students planning on taking the virtual classes remotely from home will be able to continue their training unless the Instructor is unable to conduct the class or bad weather affects their power or internet service. In this instance and if the outage is prolonged, Tandem will work with the students to reschedule to another upcoming class - at no additional charge.

Students that had planned on taking the class at the Tandem Training Center and are unable to travel there, has the option of continuing the class at home or another location that has internet service. In the event the student is unable to continue the class at another location due to power outages, or special equipment is needed for the class, Tandem will work with the student and instructor to reschedule the student in another upcoming class at no charge to the student.
