Intro to SEO Optimization
Audience Profile
This one-day SEO class Is intended for students new to the techniques and tools used when optimizing a web site for search engines. Web designers, developers, marketing professionals and web content providers will all gain important SEO skills through classroom discussion and hands-on exercises.
At Course Completion
Students will have an understanding of what SEO is and how it can be useful in the development of their web projects. Students will be introduced to SEO terms and processes. Students will have a list of the online resources available to them and how these resources can be used as they optimize a web site for search engines.
Prerequisites
Students should be familiar with using personal computers with a mouse and keyboard and possess basic typing skills. Students should be comfortable accessing information on the computer. Students should have a basic understanding of the web and how to use a web browser such as Chrome.
