About This Course

In this course, participants will learn how to plan, prepare, install and administer the SAP Mobile Platform 3.0 SP03 solution. Participants will learn the solution architecture for administration, how to design and implement a configuration that best meets the organization's needs, and perform standard every-day administrative tasks such as deployment and configuration of mobile apps developed on Agentry, for Native device platforms, Hybrid and Kapsel-based strategies. You will continue to learn post deployment configurations, registration of application users, and so on. Use of the new SMP 3.0 SP03 Management Cockpit will be a major part of this course.

Participants will learn Wily Introscope, deployment scenarios for high availability and disaster recovery, single server to multiple server infrastructures with and without a Relay Server and Microsoft Failover Cluster and gain a deep understanding of design options.

The administration of various security mechanisms that are embedded into the platform is also covered. Topics also include but not limited to security configurations, authentication, securing listeners/ports with encryption, creation of physical users and groups in an underlying store (such as Active Directory), monitoring, logging and thoroughly explore the SMP concepts for Authentication and Authorization by configuring authentication and authorization.

This course also covers the installation of SAP Mobiliser and leverage the SAP Mobiliser in SAP Mobile Platform. The new features in SAP Mobile Platform 3.0 SP03 are reaffirmed via extensive hands-on exercises.
