Learning Objectives
The learning objectives of the 20762C: Developing SQL 2016 Databases course are primarily centered around the development and management of SQL Server databases. This course aims to teach students to build and query complex data solutions. Students will learn how to design and implement tables, ensure data integrity through constraints, design and implement reliable transactions and indexes. They will also learn to use views, stored procedures, and merged statements. The course will cover the use and benefits of in-memory tables, as well as how to manage SQL Server resources and troubleshoot SQL Server performance issues.
Course Prerequisites
- Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Windows operating system and its core functionality.
- Working knowledge of Transact-SQL.
- Working knowledge of relational databases.
